Ever wondered what it feels like to get shot?

Let’s test, shall we?

Durd, come here!

Now, as the bullet hits and goes into Durd’s flesh…

Many gunshot survivors don't remember feeling any initial pain.

They feel a little bit of pressure, but not much else (at least not yet).

Once the brain realizes that it's in danger

it pumps the body full of adrenaline:

This adrenaline gives you a little boost so you can escape from any immediate danger:

Ya, it's pretty crazy what you’re able to do after you’ve been shot.

But after a while…

You get a strange numbness that radiates from the initial impact point.

Which quickly turns to an EXCRUCIATING BURNING SENSATION.

Many people say this feels like being stung by a giant wasp over and over again…

Or a sledge hammer crashing down on you over and over again…

So yea, uh.

Try not to get shot, I guess?
