How Ramen Saved Japan From Starvation 🍜

Morning Ramen lovers!

You know ramen?

It singlehandedly saved Japan from starvation…

Crazy story..

So it was WWII.

And Japan has just been nuked…

Twice!

And was like:

But there's a problem…

The war had destroyed a lot of japans farming capabilities.

Japan was gonna STARVE!

But then America feels bad about the nukes and is like:

The only trouble?

Japanese people really doesn't like bread:

So instead they try to turn the wheat into wheat noodles but….

They kinda taste like sh*t.

Oh and they go bad really really quickly…

So the government gives up and just starts making bread to stop the starvation..

But this Japanese dude doesn't like that.

So he vows to make wheat noodles work…

But..

They still sucked.

But he finds a solution!

Oil frying!

This dries them out into a little block of noodles like this:

That can be shipped anywhere, can be easily reheated in water, and taste AMAZING!

Instant ramen was born!

And Japan didn't starve!
